About Me

I have lived most of my life in Michigan. Born and raised in Detroit. I am the only girl of 5 brothers. Growing up I was a bit of an introvert, which led me to a passion for reading and writing. I’ve written and published 2 inspirational fiction novels, they did not make it to the best sellers list, but people seemed to enjoy them. I’d like to think I’ve grown over the years as a writer so I currently have quite a few projects in the works. I've also spent a little over 10 years working in the entertainment industry. I enjoyed this time in my life, it allowed me to travel nationally and internationally. Exciting times. I'm a mother of 3 and a grandmother of 5.

 

Industry Experience

I worked for several years in my younger days for a nonprofit dealing with mentally disabled adults. It taught me passion for others and how to work towards a cause to help those less fortunate. In 2006 I started a nonprofit with my then partner working toward the eradication of homelessness. It was hard work putting together a not for profit organization from scratch, but before I left, we had been successful in helping so many people, not just in Michigan but in other states as well. I started working virtually a few years ago and had the pleasure of working with some awesome clients in an administrative setting. I love the flexibility of working from home and being able to help others at the same time.
